From a simple directory to a nationwide parent engagement solution
ClassroomParent was founded in 2009 with a single, simple goal: to make parent-teacher connections easy and accessible. Tom Hoen, our founder and a PTA board member in Baltimore, Maryland, was tired of the old, paper-based parent directory. With a vision to bring this critical tool online, he developed ClassroomParent to be a digital solution for parent and school engagement.
Since those early days, ClassroomParent has grown well beyond just directories. Today, we offer a full suite of services designed for schools and parent organizations across the country. From secure communication and event coordination to volunteer management and more, we’re dedicated to meeting the unique needs of public, private, and parochial schools everywhere.
